Larry Spiderman McBride, IFRRF Ambassador, to appear with Top Fuel Motorcycle

Orlando, FL, October 15, 2015: The International Fallen Riders Relief Fund (IFRRF) announces the launch of its non-profit organization dedicated to supporting motorcycle riders and their families after a serious injury or fatal crash. The IFRRF will make its industry debut at the 2015 American International Motorcycle Expo (AIMExpo) in Orlando, Florida. The organization will raise money entirely through donations, sponsorships and member support.

Contributions to the IFRRF are used solely to help prevent accidents, to advocate for victims, and to provide emotional, physical and financial support to riders and families suffering from
motorcycle crashes and injuries. Funds will be disbursed to competitive, professional motorcycle riders participating in races sanctioned by organizations, such as the AMA. The IFRRF board of directors will make award decisions based on rigorous, case-by-case analyses.

The organization also announces the appointment of superstar motorcycle racing pro Larry ‘Spiderman’ McBride as IFRRF Ambassador. McBride is elder statesman of the Top Fuel Motorcycle drag racing community and has been racing supercharged, nitro-burning motorcycles for 30 years. In 1991, he became the first rider to run under the 6.50 second elapsed time barrier, and won the AMA/Prostar Top Fuel Championship the same year. "Riding is a way of life that connects all riders, and we want to bring this spirit of brotherhood to fallen riders when they need it most,” said McBride.

Larry 'Spiderman' McBride will appear in the IFRRF booth #260 from 2 PM to 4 PM on Saturday, Oct. 17 & Sunday, Oct. 18. On display will be his Top Fuel Motorcycle. Visitors to the booth will have a chance to win his Spiderman motorcycle helmet.

The IFRRF, a 501(c)(3) organization, was founded by Gary Baillio, president, and Art Williams, whose lifelong passion for motorcycle riding and longtime relationship with Larry McBride led them to establish the Fund. The IFRRF is headquartered in Annapolis, Maryland. Visit www.IFRRF.org for more details.
